#MaAlamat Gcash Birthday Giveaway Winners

In my previous post, I announced I will be having a giveaway promo. November is my birthday month and being grateful for the year that was despite the aftermath of the pandemic. I can say, my life in the last 12 months was pretty well, financially and healthily-wise. Let's not put love in here. I'm getting used to it. I mean, a zero love life is never an issue to me. LOL.

The promo was a cross-platform one. Meaning it runs on my YouTube channel, on my Facebook/Meta page, my Instagram, and of course here in my blog. Even though, I doubt if there's even anyone visiting this blog. LOL.

There are around 300 combined entries. Not a big number but it gave me so much time to validate the comments to make sure these people are not duplicating their entries. I'm proud to say, that it was indeed a 1 is to 1 ratio. I'm trying to be fair with everyone. I want to give each of them the same chance of winning.

It was from my Facebook page that the bulk of entries came from, they composed 80% of the raffle. Oh well, I got roughly 11k Followers and about 6.7k Likes. my YouTube represents 15% of the entry, I got about 2.3k Subscribers on my channel. Though in terms of monetizing, YouTube is my #1. My Instagram shares 5% of the entries. I got only 129 Followers there.

Not surprisingly, all three winners came from Facebook. The funniest, I had this experience where one of the winners I had awarded the prize is the fake one. It never occurred to me that this just-good-vibes-and-random-kindness effort will be home to scammers. After the selection of winners, I posted their names to message me directly to confirm their Gcash numbers. I wasn't really very strict on the identities, since my goal is to just give the amount to some random people. So I don't care if they're hiding in another name for some reason. It's no longer my concern, I mean like I said, I'm just giving the prize to random people. I mean, mag babato-bato pick lang naman ako. LOL

In short, the fake one of that one of the winners, message me first - of course bearing the exact name of the winner - with the screen shot of my post. Who would doubt? LOL. And as per my advice, she had to confirm her Gcash number. I didn't ask for any security measure - for again, hello I just need to give this money to random people. I am the person who does not want to complicate the situation so without any ado, I just sent the Gcash to the number she has confirmed.

To my surprise, another person with the same name claiming she's the winner and wants to confirm her Gcash number for the prize money. Que Horror! We had a lengthy exchange of words to the point that I have pissed. She was insistent that she was the real one. True enough, when I'm trying to message the first one, I can no longer send her the message. Oh, that bitch. I want to skin her alive when I see her. LOL.

While I pity the real one still I cannot help and give the rewards rightfully to her. Again, my goal is to just give to random people. I mean, let's just call it a day. Also, I am reluctant to talk to the supposed real one. If you look at her Facebook profile. All she has shared or posted are about giveaways. Like it's a job of some sort. Fishy, if you ask me. What if, she has connived with that so-called fake one, taking chances I might be soft and pity her fate and I'll just give her the prize money. A classic two birds with one stone, right? Pasensiya na lang siya. I wasn't born yesterday.

I've been blabbing again. LOL. Without further ado - the three winners of #MaAlamat Gcash Birthday Giveaway. Thanks for joining and Congratulations!

Now, if you want to know how these lucky winners are chosen. Here's the video.
