Exploring Manila | Arroceros Forest Park at ang mga Mahiwagang Upuan

I found a new place in Manila, perfect for mag-jowa. Yeah, it's a great haven for a date. You need quality time, under a serene environment with nothing but mother earth on the background while birds enthusiastically chirping in between a breeze of the winds?

Blimey, I got you a place- for that. And it's within the city. Introducing the Arroceros Forest Park, dubbed as the last lung of the City. Simply because it's the last remaining habitat and nesting ground to 32 types of birds and 1,567 trees from 81 species sprawled over the 2.2 hectares that is untouched from the toxicity of the city.

Indeed a breathe of fresh air. I told you, it's best for couples who want some quality time. The place is so relaxing while hearing the sound of nature. There's a lot of benches spread all around the area. My gosh, ang mga mahiwagang upuan na'to na kung minsa'y mga naging piping saksi kung ano man ang mga nangyayari habang inuupuan. Lol. Aside from the benches, concrete pathways are also everywhere. There are fountains, a couple of bridges, and a viewing deck along the Pasig River.

Entrance is free but there's a parking fee of P50.

Overall, it's a good place to relax. It's not crowded like Luneta Park or Fort Santiago. That's a bonus point. Also, it's only a walk-away from the Metropolitan Theatre. If you want to visit, just take any PUV and head yourself to Lawton.

Of course. I hear you. Here's the video to have glimpse of the newly renovated Arroceros Forest Park.
